Tatiana V. Voronchenko

Doctor of Philology, Professor, Director of the Research Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of the TransBaikal State University (Chita, Russia).

Education 

Graduated from the Irkutsk State University. A. Zhdanova with a degree in Russian Philology, in parallel graduated from the Irkutsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. Ho Chi Minh (English). Returning to Chita, in 1971 she went to work at the Chita Pedagogical Institute, went from assistant to professor. Scientific specialization – philologist-Americanist.

In 1978 she defended her Ph.D. thesis in American theater and drama (Moscow, MOPI), in 1996 – her doctoral dissertation in the literature and culture of the Mexican-American community in the USA.

Sphere of scientific interests

–         multiculturalism in language, literature and art of different countries

–         intercultural communication

Founder of a scientific school doing research in the area of multiculturalism in language, literature and art of different countries.
