Annotation The dominant subject matter of the journal is connected with key meanings, values and artifacts of culture. The problem of meaning is found in existential issues, questions of place and role of the person in the modern world, culture and society, transformation of identity and evolution of sociocultural means of person’s consciousness, crisis of culture and its value foundations. Within the framework of a relevant cultural and semantic approach, any phenomenon of culture and society is considered as a cultural text possessing an appropriate value and coding cultural meanings through different semiotic systems. The ideological outline of editorial policy in the issue is a ground for understanding sociocultural problems within the framework of philosophy. The issue presents studies in existential philosophy, philosophy of society and axiology of culture. Materials will be interesting to the wide scientific community, university lecturers, postgraduates, students, workers in culture and education.
