Annotation	The purpose of this article is to identify the construction features of the scientific text in the studies of international relations. Special attention is drawn to the way by which linguistic means in the publications devoted to the theoretical aspects of world politics and international relations, the existing knowledge and the new knowledge is presented, it is received as a result of scientific creativity and expands the horizons of this scientific field. The authors believe that the scientific consciousness manifests itself in the desire to understand, organize, and generalize. This desire is subordinated to all scientific activities, which to some extent is based on using the existing algorithms and is subject to the laws of logic. However, it should be noted that an individual thinking of any scientist has its own characteristics and psychological patterns that have impact on the entire creative process. It is closely connected with such sign system, like language, which is also an important tool of thinking and communication. It is the most important means of conveying social information, as well as its storage. It not only expresses the thoughts and feelings of the speaker, but also is involved in the control of cognitive processes.
