| Annotation | The article is devoted to identification of the news presenter’s role in the process of screenclip TV space modeling. This role has changed in the recent years. It is the news presenter, who formulates the “agenda”, literally “stitching” the etheric grid by the latest releases of news, these are “milestones” of any TV program. It is he who presents the whole thematic channels to the audience, overcoming fragmentation and fragmentary flow of life. We used functional and empirical research methods, which allowed us to explore the possibilities of news presenter’s profession, especially from the point of view of its functions. A lot of empirical materials have been used. Furthermore, one of the authors of this article is the news presenter at the large regional TV channel. We have come to the important conclusion that the news presenter is still one of the most sought-after and needed television profession, the main media face not only in his program, but also on the TV channel in whole. Although there are some new trends in the news presenter’s practice taking place in the space of the Internet broadcasting. The Internet acts as a kind of experimental platform for testing various forms of the news presenter’s functions implementation. There are some new methods that can disclose creative potential of the news presenters, who continue to “sew” the TV space mosaic, fragmentary cloth. |
