Annotation Dagestan languages have various ways to reflect the objective world adequately. This article analyzes the lexicon of Agul language (Lezghian branch of the Nakh-Dagestan group in the North Caucasian family). One may notice such ways of word derivation as morphological, lexicosemantic and morphosyntactic. There are many examples given in this article demonstrate various devices of derivation in Agul. It also shown that different Dagestan languages share some common types of word derivation. Thus, Agul vocabulary is constantly growing. Beside mentioned derivational devices new words are introduced when acquiring a new meaning or transitioning from being one part of speech to another. The most productive way of word derivation still is morphological one, i. e. when a new word is formed by combining morphemes according to the grammar laws of the language. There are also many words, which were made up from combination of other words. The most common lexico-semantic way of derivation is non-affixal. One of the morphosyntactic derivational ways in Agul is conversion. Marking out common lexical meanings in Dagestani languages, even though different in their grammatical structure, gives opportunity to distinguish some common structural-semantic ways of word derivation.
