Annotation	The paper is devoted to the results of the research on the multilayer site of ancient Ust-Menza-1 settlement (Zabaikalsky Krai, Krasnochikoisk region). It presents the history of the monument research, stratigraphical description, and the ground age cultural depositions. Besides, it describes the revealed dwelling complexes (sites, hearths) and the uncovered material. Special attention is paid to the recent results, which have broadened the view on the settlement. The author shows the significance of the monument in the study of an ancient history of Zabaikalye.
