Annotation	The article is concerned with the question of Chuvash women’s social and juridical status in peasant society in the end of 19th – beginning of 20th centuries. The evaluation of dynamic condition of this status in the mentioned above period and herein discernible dependency of Chuvash women from her family status are revealed. The Chuvash women’s status in family and society, as well as their property and juridical position over the period of life are transforming.
