Annotation The paper analyses qualitative characteristics of age nominating which is traditional in the Yakut’s everyday life. Specific features of time comprehended by historical and mythological consciousness have been studied. Family and tribal representations of time demonstrate a special treatment of childhood subculture. The nominating nomenclature is distinguished by diverse and metaphorical character which shows priorities in the hierarchy of values.
