Annotation	The article touches upon the problem of the increase in the significance of the policy in the cultural sphere in the whole foreign policy system of Germany. The author analyzes the ways of state’s participation in the realization of the basic directions of the policy. It should be emphasized that the coordination of the European and national interests in the cultural sphere has become more essential especially in the conditions of the increased role of the EU, UNESCO, the European Council and OSCE in the process of globalization and European integration.
