Annotation	For the first time in Russian scientific literature the essence and structure of the ideological power of a geopolitical actor relating to modern Russian realities are investigated. The resources and the main technologies that aid in the promotion of an ideological power are clarified. Attention is also paid to the main problems encountered in the development of an ideological power.
