Annotation The XVIIIth International Summer Scientific School “Cognitive linguistics and conceptual research” was organized on June 17–25, 2015. This school was conducted on the basis of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the First President of Russia Boris Yeltsin (Bishkek, ul. Kievskaya, 44). The school participants were graduate students, undergraduates, university professors from five countries: Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan. The lecturers at the School were the Professors Zamira Kasymbekovna Derbisheva (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), Vladimir Ilyich Karasik (Volgograd, Russia), Marina Vladimirovna Pimenova (Saint Petersburg, Russia), Valentina Alexeevna Sadikova (Tver, Russia). The themes of the lectures at the School were the issues of conceptology, cultural linguistics, linguistic personology, conceptual, linguistics, folklore and scientific pictures of the world. The beauty of nature, the living scientific communication, extensive cultural program – these are the main factors that attract scientists from different countries, who came to this school from Kaliningrad to the Far East. Summer school on Lake Issyk-Kul – the pearl of Kyrgyzstan – is becoming a good tradition.
