The article is devoted to the analysis of an urgent problem of religious safety in the context of social philosophy representatives’ works and classical religious studies which recognize universality of religious outlook. However, they represent a wide palette of opinions, concerning its possible danger, for believers and for society. The methodology of the research is based on philosophical, philosophical and theological concepts of religion. The comparative, system and phenomenological methods were used in the research. As the carried out analysis shows, the difference between the external form of social manifestations of religion and its hidden entity, which does not allow to view it on the basis of external observation data, is the reason of it. Social practice of interaction with the religious organizations is based on theoretical situation, according to which, religion, having a certain spiritual entity, represents a social phenomena whose threat depends on this entity. Many authors of the publications devoted to religious safety executing the social order protect own metaphysical beliefs and publish exposing materials against the religious associations which are considered dangerous and even extremist by them. However, there are always their opponents, who advocate the interests of believers, specifying the presence of positive and integrating functions at the same religions. The author of the article proves that it has led to contradictions between religious needs of citizens of the modern society and an increase in quantity of the phenomena, connected with religious intolerance and extremism and also between involvement and fragmentariness of religious safety ideas widespread in the Russian society. |
