Annotation	The editorial policy of the journal focuses on the studies which examine the values of modern society – new and traditional, significant not only for the individual and specific society of different regions but also for the world culture as a whole in the face of challenges and threats of the technological revolution, crisis of cultures and their value bases, and the total digitalization of the world community. This thematic issue of the journal \"Mass Media in the space of Culture\" presents an understanding of the role and potential of the media as an effective conductor of cultural and spiritual phenomena of social existence. The following issues are proposed for discussion in the content of the issue: cultural aspects and contexts of journalistic professionalism, cultural studies of media discourse, culture in the mass media and professionally creative solutions. The materials of the journal will be of interest to the general scientific community, teachers and students, cultural and educational figures.
