Annotation This article examines the daily life of modern Russian urban residents. It is noted that the subject of studying of everyday culture are various manifestations of everyday life: habitat, rituals, rituals, leisure, customs, customs, lifestyle, mentality, way of thinking and lifestyle of a certain society. Moreover, in culture, everyday life is a combination of ideas, principles, processes and cultural phenomena associated with the everyday life of people. In the article, particular attention is directed to such a structural element in the everyday culture as dwelling. Preferences in the design of the dwelling of a modern man can serve as one of the indicators of the conditions of human existence and at the same time represent through the everyday culture elements of a common system of culture.The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of today’s Russian everyday life through an analysis of the relationship of individuals to the internal space of their House on the example of the average Russian city of Vladivostok, with the population about 607 thousand people in the end of 2017. To solve the task, a pilot survey was conducted. The questionnaire formed by the authors was placed on the Internet on the special website “Survio” for online questioning. 560 residents of Vladivostok showed interest in the problem.
