Annotation | The conceptual provisions of monograph ‘Semiotic bases of technique and technical consciousness” are analyzed in the review. Author’s methodological approaches to the definition of the concept of “semiotics of technology”, the connection of this field of research with the philosophy of technology are examined in this work. The importance of correlating its concepts with ontology, epistemology and the theory of communication is revealed. Attention is focused on the fact that technique in the author’s understanding is primarily a “form of self-reflection of human consciousness”, and according to the semiotic approach developed by it, technology is a special kind of language that implements a system of pragmatic, syntactic and semantic rules in material substrates. The definition of the theoretical provisions of the technology semiotics in the first part of the book allows A. Nesterov to consider the translated book by Dessauer “Dispute on Technology” in the foreshortening of these ideas in the second part, to address the anthropological and socio-prognostic aspects of the development of technology. In this context, science fiction is analyzed as a way of special synthesis of man and technology. The review concludes that the concept of technique semiotics created by A. Nesterov has heuristic significance not only for epistemology and analytical philosophy but also for the philosophy of culture, culturology and philosophical anthropology. |
