The article discusses the expressive syntax structures from the point of view of their functional importance in structuring the political discourse in the genre of public speaking of Chinese political leaders. Being the object of study of different categories of expression, this type of design was considered primarily as a “figure of speech” in the rhetorical aspect elated to the inclusion of expression, disclosure of emotional – psychological condition of the speaker and, on this basis, strengthening the beliefs of the addressee. The approach to language in phenomenology of discourse in its cognitive nature and functional –activity method of realization, actualizes the problem of the implementation methods of discourse and draws attention to syntax, in particular, expressive syntactic constructions, in terms of a more in-depth elaboration of the issue of their importance in structuring of the discourse in the act of communication. Consideration of the matter on the material of public speeches of Chinese political leaders, characterized by the dominant of pragmatic intentionality effects, it is proposed to integrate the concept of “pragmatic potential” that includes the component of functions of the structures of the text / utterance, and its conceptual organization. In the analysis, methodologically based on the theory of expressive syntax, general model of analysis of the discourse, functional model of the act of communication by R. O. Jakobson, used structural – semantic method, the method of interpretative analysis. In the course of solving the tasks of disclosure of the pragmatic potential of the most activity used in texts of speeches of the syntagmatic structures of parallelism in their varieties, we establish that the integral sign of the potential of structures realizing poetic, emotive-expressive, connotative, metalinguistic functions is to focus the discursive space on the leading concepts of communication. The results of the analysis are applicable in the theory of speech influence, political decorology. |
