| Annotation | The topic of neo-religious movements is becoming more and more important. This phenomenon estimation is ambiguous. The article contains the overview of the new Christian religious movements of Buryatia from the beginning of the 1990-s up to the present time. The main sources on the article are the resources of the Internet. Author dwells upon some of problematic issues of the network resources using in historical researches. The characteristic of main neo-religious movements based on information on them, available in the Internet, is given in the article. A comparative analysis of network resources (websites, communities, social networks) belonging to different religious communities has been done. It is found out that the use of modern information technologies as a tool for expanding the target audience is not usual to all new religions, several conclusions about their integration into the confessional and information space of the study region and the prospects for their propagation in Buryatia have been done. |
