Annotation The article firstly disclosed creativity of Transbaikalian writer Oleg Dimov from the standpoint of spiritual realism. The latest works of the writer are considered through the most characteristic features of the spiritual realism. His spiritual biography becomes an artistic context of creation by O. Dimov, and is designated as a path to God. A being of transbaikalian reader is always included in the transbaikalian writer’s being, so Dimov’s creativity is vital and interesting. Regional O. Dimov’s text may be interesting to the Russian reader, because it is organic to Orthodox context of the Russian culture. In his works the writer uses of art quotes, images, symbols, allusions to the biblical text. It is proved that the texts by Dimov are «centered-to-the-Christ», the energy of his spiritual meanings aimed to restoring the spiritual traditions of the peoples. Writer organically includes in his works values of the method of spiritual realism as a surprised and joyful way of world investigation. His characters are the heroes of our time that in the chaos of contemporary postmodern are look unusual, but they, having courageous heart, touched the hearts of readers. The article draws the attention to the special dialogue in Dimov’s text, which is not of applied nature, but the nature of the spiritual communion of thoughts, words, rhythms and intonations of the author and the reader with each other. There are some conclusions about the dominant Orthodox in artistic and journalistic works of transbaikalian writer.
