Among them translation into Russian of the Zain version of Geser is of special value. M. P. His numerous articles and monograph reviews of the Buryat scientists’ folklore are of special interest, as well as his translations of foreign scientists’ works on epos study. Materials on dialectology, records on folklore, ethnography of the Buryat people written down during his field work and expeditions haven’t been practically studied and scientifically based.
