| Annotation | Using the case-study approach, the study examines the relations between Russia and Turkey. Now we see that partnership between the two countries has become really strong. So, these relations have become a geopolitical phenomenon of the 21st century. The mass-media are the best technologies which can help us to understand these relations better. This article also proves that the mass media are not only the fourth power. In the global world they become a rigorous criterion of the international relations quality. So, the ability to react quickly on each event – from global, to local level – can become both the supplementary diplomatic channel, and the weapon for destroying all the positive results of cooperation. So, it should be taken into account in both countries, if they want to cooperate with each other to the best advantage. |
