| Annotation | The article is devoted to the history of the study of socio-political lexicon of the Buryat language and its unexplored part in the Old Mongolian script. The study of this lexicon is very important for the Buryat language, because currently there are certain difficulties in the formation of modern political lexicon, especially in the media. Analysis of the works shows that socio-political lexicon in the old Mongolian written language has been out of the field of scientific research so far. Contemporary socio-political vocabulary of the Buryat language was founded in the Old Mongolian script in the 1920s–1930s, on the pages of the major national newspaper Buriyad-Mongгul-un Ьnen. Consideration of the general works on Buryat vocabulary and an appeal to socio-political lexicon in the Old Mongolian language will update the interest of scholars to its research. Moreover, it will contribute to the introduction of the lexicon into the scientific research and its restoration in the modern Buryat language. |
