Annotation	The results of an associational experiment on Buryat and Russian respondents are represented in the article. The content of an ordinary mind and everyday life culture is constructed implicitly. The urgency of a semantic field research is based on the classification of life sense categories. The content of the family member semantic image belonging to different groups (teenagers, youth, adults) is described. The analysis of the semantic fields obtained in the associational experiment can show definite perspectives of family pattern changes in a contemporary society. The results of the research let differentiate between consanguinity and cultural succession in the semantic fields of the family member images. Each member is represented by an image in the semantic field of mind which holds inside social forms of relationship, marriage, norms of behavior between certain types of relatives. The images of the family members living in a city and in the countryside are analyzed.
