| Annotation | The author considers the problem of existential and anthropologic ideas of V. Vernadskiy’s on cultural studies. Author’s interpretation of these ideas is based on the analysis of such sources as his sketches, letters and diaries. The paper discusses various Vernadskiy’s conceptions: 1) essence of human reason and typos of cognition; 2) moving forces of history and cultural creativity; 3) cultural meaning of scientific discoveries; 4) specific of philosophy as typos of creativity; 5) diagnosis and prognosis of cultural processes in the XXth century. The article also examines thematic and methodological links between these conceptions. The author proposes his own interpretation of V. Vernadskiy’s views on cultural studies, emphasizing that his ideas are based on rethinking of universal human experience, which is necessarily linked with a source of human freedom. For instance, human consciousness and cognition is interpreting by V. Vernadskiy as a non-finished and problematical essence, which determined by different types of “ways” (science, philosophy, religion and poetry). Special attention in article is drawn to analysis of cultural creativity determination according to V. Vernadsky’s conception. The concept of “world as crystal” in its metaphysical sense is considered here as a key to understanding of V. Vernadskiy’s worldview style, which was defined by author as “morphism”. Special attention in article is devoted to interpreting of “inner mechanisms” of cultural activity as a phenomenon of behavior according to “streaming to Absolute” (V. Vernadsky). |
