Annotation The development of archeology includes the use of more and more modern methods of analysis of the data obtained during the field research. Paleolithic monuments of the Trans-Baikal region with numerous remains of housing complexes are especially significant for the ancient history reconstruction. The discoveries and studies of Paleolithic dwellings in the Trans-Baikal region was accompanied by the development of the planigraphic analysis. The clarity of the complexes outer boundaries lets us concentrate more attention on the internal planigraphy of dwellings and settlements. The introduction of the circular modeling as a scientific method has expanded possibilities of the planigraphic analysis. There were allocated laws of the organization of economic-household activity zones in the internal space of simple and complex multi-hearth complexes. The given method is also relevant when solving the synchronism in the formation of the settlements’ structural elements. The data of the Trans-Baikal monuments discovered in the geo-archeological range Studenoye serve as an example.
