Annotation One of the important stages in the development of humanity is the beginning of the development of metal. During the archaeological expedition of 1990–2000 up the river Amur they further on explored already known sites and identified a number of new ones in Priargun which enables us to trace the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze in the Trans-Baikal region. Despite the introduction of new materials people continued to use well-known ones as well. This article analyzes the collection of things made of bone and horn found during the research of Priargunsk transition from the Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age. Depending on the intended appearance and functionality 25 types of products have been identified, many of them are things of everyday use. There are also items of weapons, jewelry, fishing tackle. Many kinds of products made of bone continue to be used in the Bronze Age. Priargunsk inventory peculiarities showed that the main occupations of the local tribes were hunting and gathering, an important addition to which were fishing and primitive agriculture.
