Annotation |
In this article the history of creation of the Chita branch of the USSR Artists
Association and its initial stage of activity is considered. Interactions with organs of
local government bodies and artistic public are discovered. Using certain examples
it has been shown how the party bodies interfered into the creative process, as well
as the arising difficulties and ways of their solution at the initial stage of the union
formation. The paper reveals main features of the Chita branch development, its creative
success which brought the All-Russia and republic popularity to Trans-Baikal
artists, and the results of their activity in formation. The author also considers the
involvement of the youth, schoolchildren into art creativity, and various methods of
work with beginners, talented artists of the region during the post-war period. In the
article the interrelation of Chita branch of the USSR Union of Artists with painters
from the neighbouring regions is shown. |
