Annotation | Modernization in the 21st century is a way of the solution of political and administrative, economic and social, cultural and personal tasks which the states, societies and individuals face in the context of internal and external threats and risks; it is set of processes of technical, economic, social, cultural, political development of society. The methodological basis of the research is a system approach which allowed us to reveal features of modernization of China in the context of universal process of modernization; comparative-historical, retrospective approaches by means of which features of formation of strategic objectives of modernization of China were revealed; structural functional approach which allowed us to define the main forms of modernization of China, social institutes of a research of modernization in China. In this article, we carry out the analysis of process of formation of strategic objectives in modernization of China and features of social modernization. The purpose of modernization of China evolved from an increase in material welfare of the population of China to creation of a rich and strong democratic civilization, the harmonious socialist modern power. Three main directions of strategy of modernization of China are allocated: transition from one-dimensional to multidimensional, from growth to development, from an imbalance to balance. It is defined that social modernization of China represents the continuous historical process caused by development of modern science and technology. Materials of the research can be applied during the studying and identification of features of modern modernization processes. |
