Annotation The text is proposed by the author as staged-problematic reasoning. If, generally speaking, ethics is interested in how to build intersubjective relations, i. e. how people admire each other, confuse, confront each other, find fault with each other, show insidiousness and so on, it wouldn’t be bad to describe and comprehend holistically a multidimensional matrix of these relations. The article is devoted to one specific fragment of the indicated multidimensional matrix, the spit. The spit may be considered as a derogatory attitude to a fragment of reality or even to the world on the whole manifested by the moral subject. It’s not just the state, but also (not very cultural) communication tool. Fixing the rootedness of the spit into the fabric of everyday life, the author states: there is a mosaic of situations, which feature the spit as a deed. Having considered the generic situation of the spit: SUBJECT–ADDRESSEE– CONTEXT–MOTIVATION–PERCEPTION–RESULT, the author briefly describes each of these parameters. The results of the reflections are formulated as follows: the world around us is multicolor, polyphonic, fragrant; this world with its dynamic intricacies beyond our cognitive abilities deserves to be comprehended and described. Do we deserve to live in this world? Are we able to express ourselves in it anyway more positively than spitting people?
Key words intersubjective relationships, deed, spit (subject, addressee, context, motives, perception, outcome)
