The article examines the activities of the Buryat radio committee during the Great Patriotic War. During this
period, radio broadcasting in Buryatia became the center of political agitation and mass defense work, calling on
everyone to defend the Soviet homeland. Radio broadcasting during the war did not decrease, on the contrary, it
expanded from year to year. The connections between Buryat radio and its listeners was also seriously strengthened.
The study of these issues is extremely important for developing the problems of local radio broadcasting,
which experienced serious formation and development during the war years. On the eve of the upcoming 80th
anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the topic of research is especially relevant.
The purpose of the study is to study the experience of political broadcasting during the war. The author
relied on the principles of scientific objectivity and historicism, as well as universal and specifically scientific
methods. This is a problem-chronological approach, systematic and statistical methods. The source base is
archival documents from the two funds of the State Archive of the Republic of Buryatia. Namely: resolutions of
plenums, minutes of meetings of the Regional Committee of the Party, other organizational and administrative
documents. Also, clerical documentation of the fund R1051, monthly transmission plans, materials of correspondence
with the All-Union Radio Committee, etc. During the radical restructuring of radio broadcasting, political
broadcasting took a special place. Radio revealed its powerful social and technical potential in mobilizing the
people to fight the enemy. |
