Annotation | Bilingual interactivity is mutual comparison of two linguistic systems, their functioning and reconstruction of features actualized in the process of translation. Bilingualism is the basis for translation. The source language and the target language are mutually influenced to form the translation. The meaning reconstruction of the source language text is principle, but the target language also participates in the meaning reconstruction of the translated text to a certain extent. Poetry translation is the reconstruction of aesthetic poetic meanings based on bilingual mutual reference. We translated two Russian poems by Bulat Okudzhava into Chinese and a Chinese poem by Bian Zhilin as an example trying to conduct poetry exploration. The textual meanings (word meaning, sentence meaning, even text meaning), artistic conception (image cluster) and rhythm beauty of translated poetry are all related to the meaning reconstruction. Bilingual mutual reference is the translator’s method of bilingual comparison with the source and target languages to achieve the exact translation, which means that the translation is the result of bilingualism and mutual interaction reconstruction. Although the translation is to keep the meaning system from the original text, but because of the bilingual difference there must be the meaning elements of the target language integrated into the translation, and the translation variation occurs. Sometimes translation has become a creation, which is not only by the translator but also for the symbiosis of bilingual mutual reference. In addition to the translator’s innovation and the re-creation of images and artistic conception reconstruction, bilingual participation in the translation plays a role in the creativity and the poetic function of the languages themselves. |
