Annotation The paper presents the results of research carried out in Hulunbuir College in 2012. The authors prove feasibility of the newly-designed module-structured system of courses and the compatible credits system, aiming at fulfilling the needs for the reform of credit system in talent training scheme for the application-oriented professions. The practice suggested is new in the paradigm of applied higher education in China and can be interesting to specialists from other types of educational institutions working on introduction of talent training scheme to educational process.
