Education
In 1995 he graduated from the Faculty of History of St. Petersburg State University, Department of Russian History. In 1998, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: “The Activities of Metropolitan Macarius and Church-State Relations in Russia in the 1940s-1960s. XVI century.
In 2003 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Church-State Relations in Russia in the 1930s–1980s. XVI century.
Research interests
Political history of the 16th century Russia, church state relations in Russia of the 16th century.
