The ideological and conceptual field of the journal “Humanitarian Vector” is focused on the consideration of modern society’s value vectors – new and traditional, significant not only for an individual and a specific society of different regions, but also for the world culture as a whole
The journal focuses its attention on the study of the axiological vector and the humanistic trends in the development of different societies under the challenges and threats of the fourth technological (industrial) revolution, the crisis of cultures and their value foundations, the global community total digitalization and the risks of an individual dehumanization.
Linguistic and historical consciousness reflect the paradigm of society’s thinking, in which the valuable experience of numerous generations is recorded and the basic codes of a particular culture in the continuum “past-present-future” paradigm are fixed. Artifacts, historical realities, texts, and mass media are the means of cultural memory translation.
The journal welcomes interdisciplinary researches based on socio-cultural practices of different regions in the following fields: philosophy, history, philology, oriental studies, media communication, and journalism.
