Annotation	This article describes Turgenev’s tradition in creating the image of the Fair Lady and its counterpart in A. Blok’s early lyrics. The paper examines the mechanism of creating Blok’s symbolic image in the context of Turgenev’s novels and proves the significance of Turgenev’s motives of circle, nature and others for the formation of Blok’s idea of the Path.
