Annotation The article is devoted to the tendencies of Self and Other representation in a post-totalitarian culture. The author analyzes the content of a range of textbooks in humanities and interprets the students’ questionnaire results, concluding that xenophobic and isolationist stereotypes are widespread both in informal and scientific-pedagogic discourse.
