Annotation	The thematic issue is devoted to the problem of interpreting war in its interdependence with culture. Axiomatics of research focuses on the fullness of person’s daily existential consciousness in a certain society, in the interrelation of the binary position of “war and peace”, in the space of which meaning-generating issues of civilization development appear. War as a culturally conditioned, complex, structural, semantic and verbalized formation is considered in the context of history, philosophy, philology and mass media. The materials of the journal will be of interest to a wide scientific community, teachers and students, figures of culture and education, all those who are concerned about humanism in a difficult period of existence of the modern world, which has entered the stage of instability and global crises.
