Annotation | The main research problems for the authors studying modern art culture related to the traditional crafts are identification of historical context as a condition of finding historical background, historical and cultural continuity, comparative analysis of formal and compositional, plot and sense aspects of creative work, traditional semantics and its enrichment with modern meanings. There is a particular focus on modern language of plastic arts. Taking the example of art dolls’ exposure, we show that establishing of family art workshops as sources of creative industry in the creative work of some Siberian artists and sculptors (Dashi Namdakov, Zhigzhit Bayaskhalanov, Zorigto Dorzhiev, et al.) relate to persistent craftsmanship traditions and their daring renewals today. The results of the studies conducted, numerous joint exhibitions with the fund museum collections allowed us to make a conclusion: creative work of famous artists is a bright transformation of artistic traditions of the East based on the past craft traditions, principles of modern creative industries, energy of folk art in professional sphere by means of effective motivational creativity institutions. We used the methods of historical generalization, comparative analysis, a biography method, a method of artistic stylization of creativity. Generalization of historical and cultural continuity of craft traditions and artistic achievements was made on the basis of disciplinary generalization of the results of art history analysis, museum cataloging and attribution, as well as philosophical and culturological reflection of conditions and factors of continuity and renewal of traditions. |
