Annotation The relevance of the article is determined by the unique situation that has formed in the Russian public communication space since the beginning of the special military operation. The aim of the article is to identify axiological trends in the evolution of the media space that guide the modernization of modern public communication processes, which are quite clearly manifested in the communicative position of the author of the media text. The analytical algorithm was formed in line with communicative linguistics, linguistics of speech, i. e. \"anthropocentric speech production\" (M. M. Bakhtin). The analytical methodology includes elements of intentional-stylistic analysis of the media text /media speech, variants of lexical-semantic analysis, psycholinguistic approach, comparative analysis of observations and the results obtained. The main characteristics of the Russian public communication space that developed on the eve of the SVO (special military operation) are summarized: obvious signs of quasi-communicative interaction, the destruction of national rhetorical priorities, passion for communicative games and other destructive consequences of the dominance of the so-called \"info elites\". The characteristics of the current critical communicative situation are highlighted, when most of the Russian media, under the influence of relevant historical experience, actualize communicative techniques of neutralizing aggression that hinder the development of dialogue, high cognitive abilities and demonstrating a responsible attitude to the word, able to actualize precedent phenomena relevant in this communicative situation. The key conclusion: the communicative position of the pro-Russian \"media party\" is formed under the sign of the restoration of the communicative tradition, the national rhetorical ideal, which imposes quite certain requirements on the rhetorician (author), the key of which is positive ontology. The observations made can become the basis for the formation of a scientific, conceptual understanding of the strategic communicative position of the media aimed at preserving the communicative the prospects.
Key words communicative position, wartime, destructive tendencies, quasi-communication, confrontation, lexico-semantic fields, perspective
